Remote Word and PDF Expert (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Word and PDF Expert to support high‑quality document preparation for regulated industries. The contractor will apply advanced Word and PDF skills to create, edit, and manage complex files, ensuring compliance with client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format Word and PDF documents, adhering to industry and client‑specific guidelines.
• Manage tracked changes, comments, and version control across large, complex files.
• Create, edit, and populate dynamic forms and templates for professional use.
• Extract and consolidate data from Word and PDF sources with precision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver confidential document solutions on schedule.
• Implement document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance projects.
• Train stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF functionalities and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of intensive experience with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF in professional settings.
• Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or JD) in a relevant field such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance.
• Proven track record supporting Fortune 500 or similarly regulated clients.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and effective in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Adobe Acrobat PDF – form fields, digital signatures, secure document handling.
