About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified oncology nurse who will combine direct patient care with a strong development function. The role bridges clinical practice and quality improvement, turning new evidence into everyday nursing actions for cancer patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify development areas based on clinical practice and patient pathways.
• Lead and coordinate quality, improvement and research projects.
• Support implementation of new workflows, clinical guidelines and organisational initiatives.
• Participate in data collection, audits, quality follow‑up and evaluation of interventions.
• Promote patient safety and continuous quality improvement.
• Translate research findings into evidence‑based nursing practice.
• Act as a resource and sparring partner for colleagues, contributing to competence development and learning environments.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with solid experience in oncology care.
• Strong interest and competence in quality development and evidence‑based practice.
• Excellent relational skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work a rotating weekend shift every fourth weekend to gain comprehensive insight into the patient journey.
