Executive Director, Biostatistics

About the role

The Executive Director, Biostatistics will provide strategic statistical leadership across multiple clinical development programs in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and the siRNA platform. The role blends confirmatory and exploratory analytics, delivering regulatory‑grade outputs while fostering rapid data exploration in partnership with clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a Biometrics team of biostatisticians and statistical programmers.
• Oversee statistical planning, analysis, and reporting for assigned clinical programs, including protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory and quality standards, coordinating internal and external resources such as CROs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across functions to shape clinical development strategy.
• Optimize statistical methods for study design, conduct, and analysis.
• Drive a culture of innovative, hands‑on data exploration.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in biostatistics or biometrics within pharma/biotech.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• High energy, self‑motivated, and forward‑thinking.
• Experience with rare diseases, gene therapy, or siRNA modalities is desirable but not mandatory.
• Track record of delivering regulatory‑grade statistical outputs.
