Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

Join our talent network and work as a Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) for U.S. clients on flexible, project‑based remote assignments. You will integrate directly into the client’s team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineering teams through complex technical initiatives.
• Plan and execute large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and migration strategies.
• Design and implement backend services and API‑driven architectures.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Identify technical risks, define migration strategies, and ensure data integrity throughout projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders such as product, content, and engineering teams.
• Integrate enterprise platforms with modern CMS solutions and manage cloud deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience, driving architecture decisions.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Extensive production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven track record of large‑scale Sanity CMS migrations, including content schemas, GROQ queries, and migration tooling.
• Strong background in designing backend services, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems and modern JavaScript ecosystems (React, Next.js).
• Solid understanding of headless CMS architectures and content delivery platforms.
• Experience with document‑based databases and data migration from legacy platforms.
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
