Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We at Coforge are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data‑warehouse solutions. The role is fully remote and supports teams across Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, and Bolivia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimise data models and data‑warehouse solutions to support analytics and reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, reliability, and consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions and continuously improve data platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data warehousing and data‑modeling concepts.
• Experience working with large‑scale datasets and distributed data processing.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based data platforms and services.
• Experience with data quality, validation, and performance optimisation.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced technical environment.
