Senior AI Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Application Engineer to design and deliver AI‑enabled capabilities for our clients. The role is fully remote and serves customers across Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI‑enabled features such as agent tool surfaces, workflow orchestration, retrieval and document intelligence.
• Integrate Azure AI Foundry models via API Management and implement tool and function calling.
• Develop cloud‑native services using Azure Container Apps and contribute to connector surfaces.
• Implement observability, tracing, token attribution and AI usage monitoring, as well as auditing for regulated environments.
• Optimize solutions for reliability, latency and token cost, and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver production‑ready AI applications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#/.NET and Python.
• Proven experience building solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Hands‑on work with Large Language Models, including API integration, tool calling and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with API‑driven, distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English communication skills.
