Remote Recruiter – High‑Volume Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work remotely as an independent contractor, supporting high‑volume recruiting for The Ward Law Group. The schedule runs Wednesday to Sunday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM ET, focusing on late‑week and after‑hours applicant activity. The role aims to keep the hiring pipeline moving quickly while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process large volumes of applicants, especially those submitted late in the week or after regular business hours.
• Screen resumes and perform initial qualification checks against minimum role criteria.
• Advance qualified candidates and promptly disposition unqualified ones in the ATS.
• Maintain an efficient pipeline by moving candidates through each hiring stage in a timely manner.
• Prepare candidate summaries and supporting documentation for recruiter review the following day.
• Track candidate progress accurately in SmartRecruiters.
• Communicate professionally with candidates via email, phone, and SMS, providing timely updates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple hiring teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting U.S.-based recruiting operations.
• Background in high‑volume recruiting, coordination, or talent‑acquisition operations.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably SmartRecruiters.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
