Quality Assurance Team Lead

About the role

Digital Harbor is seeking a Quality Assurance Team Lead to drive quality across its software products. The role combines hands‑on testing expertise with people leadership, ensuring that quality decisions align with product risk and business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the QA team throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Define, improve and enforce QA strategies, processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, project managers, DevOps and other stakeholders.
• Make risk‑based quality decisions and identify quality risks early.
• Promote ownership, accountability and continuous improvement within the QA function.
• Oversee functional, automation, performance and other testing activities.
• Mentor QA professionals and support their technical and professional growth.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leadership experience in QA or a similar quality‑focused role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA processes.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring or coordinating QA professionals.
• Ability to make informed quality and risk‑based decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience with test automation and modern QA practices.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• API testing, performance testing and security testing.
• Agile/Scrum development environments.
