About the role

FONPLATA’s Finance Vice Presidency is offering four paid internships for final‑year students or recent graduates in economics, finance, accounting, business administration or related fields. Interns will be placed in the main office in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), the country office in Montevideo (Uruguay) or the country office in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and will support key financial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating long‑term financial models and databases.
• Prepare presentations, reports and analytical inputs for decision‑making.
• Extract, clean and maintain financial data sets.
• Support administrative tasks within the finance area.
• Run financial simulations for borrowers and update policy control spreadsheets.
• Contribute to market‑related activities such as debt issuance, investment analysis and derivative monitoring, depending on the assigned vacancy.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance, budgeting and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Spanish (advanced), English (intermediate) and basic Portuguese.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with quantitative data.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the designated office location.
