Nutricionista – Intervenciones de nutrición en WFP Bolivia

About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Nutritionist to provide specialized technical and programmatic support for nutrition interventions in Bolivia. The role involves planning, managing, implementing, monitoring and advocating for nutrition activities that align with WFP standards and national priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and manage nutrition interventions, ensuring integration of technical, operational and monitoring components.
• Provide technical assistance for school feeding, food fortification, maternal‑child nutrition and their integration into emergency, resilience and climate‑change programmes.
• Conduct context analyses, needs assessments and evidence reviews to inform intervention design and prioritisation.
• Coordinate implementation with public institutions, implementing partners and territorial teams, and support policy advocacy and evidence generation.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Food Engineering or related field; postgraduate studies in public health or nutrition are desirable.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in nutrition, public health, food security or social protection programmes.
• Bolivian nationality or valid work permit for Bolivia at the time of application.
• Excellent oral and written Spanish; intermediate English is desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of nutrition and food‑security concepts, public‑health frameworks and data‑analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency with computer tools and data‑analysis software.
