Mid Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Backend Software Engineer to join Coforge’s remote team serving LATAM customers. The role focuses on designing and building cloud‑native backend services on AWS using Java or Kotlin.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native backend services and distributed systems on AWS.
• Build scalable, high‑performance applications with Java and/or Kotlin using Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs using Netflix DGS.
• Implement data solutions with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality backend solutions and influence technical decisions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend‑focused software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Spring Boot, and building distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work across teams.
