Intermediate SDET/QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate SDET/QA Automation Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining test automation infrastructure, ensuring high software quality throughout the development lifecycle, and promoting best‑in‑class testing practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines using tools such as Playwright, Selenium and Pytest.
• Develop automated functional, integration, regression, performance, load and security tests for REST APIs, micro‑services and event‑driven architectures.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates, release criteria and shift‑left testing practices.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, synthetic test data and database validation suites.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot production issues and support continuous delivery.
• Document testing frameworks, tools and compliance procedures for handling PHI data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in test automation engineering, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment.
• Strong coding skills and ability to write maintainable test code.
• Experience mentoring team members and driving quality‑first culture.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
