Fund Manager – Private Equity Portfolio

About the role

The Fund Manager will be responsible for overseeing a private‑equity fund portfolio, ensuring strong performance, rigorous investment evaluation, and risk‑controlled profitability. The role is based at the La Paz office of a leading financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the private‑equity fund portfolio, monitoring performance and risk.
• Evaluate, structure, and execute investment opportunities.
• Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee.
• Lead and coordinate investment teams to achieve portfolio objectives.
• Maintain ongoing risk assessment and control mechanisms.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Commercial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably a specialization, master’s degree in corporate finance, or CFA certification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in corporate banking.
• Proven experience in credit portfolio management, company evaluation, and structuring credit operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal relations.
• Good command of English.
