Forward Deployed Engineer (TypeScript + AI) – Remote Latin America

About the role

FullStack is looking for Forward Deployed Engineers who embed with enterprise teams to identify, design, and ship AI‑enabled solutions. You will act as a consultant, operator, and engineer, turning AI concepts into production‑grade systems for regulated and Fortune 500 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops, separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues, and produce a scoped, defensible solution.
• Architect end‑to‑end agentic systems, including orchestration, retrieval, tool integration, guardrails, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship production‑ready agents, multi‑step automations, internal tooling, and integration layers.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for the solutions you create, handling build, test, release, and environment management.
• Present and defend technical decisions to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders, quantifying impact in business terms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years of experience delivering production LLM‑powered or agentic AI systems.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to lead client‑facing discovery calls, ask strategic “why” questions, and define technical roadmaps.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js (or equivalent language such as Python, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with frontier AI developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex).
• Design and implementation of APIs, event‑driven and distributed systems, and data modeling.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Enterprise integration patterns, including iPaaS platforms (n8n, MuleSoft) and webhooks.
