Forward Deployed Engineer (TypeScript + AI) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients, identify AI‑driven opportunities, architect solutions, and deliver production‑ready systems. You will act as a consultant, operator, and engineer, bridging business needs with cutting‑edge AI technology.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business and engineering stakeholders to differentiate genuine AI problems from workflow issues.
• Design end‑to‑end agentic systems, including orchestration, context retrieval, tool integration, guardrails, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship production‑grade agents, multi‑step automations, and integration layers, owning the full CI/CD pipeline.
• Present architectural decisions to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders, quantifying impact and supporting pre‑sales scoping.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years of experience delivering LLM‑powered or agentic AI systems beyond prototypes.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to lead client‑facing discovery calls and own end‑to‑end delivery without product‑manager supervision.

• Frontier AI developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex)
• APIs, service design, event‑driven and distributed systems, data modeling
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Enterprise integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, event streams, iPaaS platforms such as n8n or MuleSoft)
