Forward Deployed Engineer (Python + AI) – Remote Latin America

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients, identify AI opportunities, design and ship agentic AI solutions, and ensure they operate reliably in production.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business, data, and engineering stakeholders to assess AI readiness and define problem statements.
• Design end‑to‑end agentic systems, including retrieval architecture, knowledge graphs, orchestration, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship production‑grade agents, retrieval services, and evaluation tooling, owning CI/CD pipelines with prompt and context versioning.
• Operate post‑launch systems: monitor retrieval quality, manage cost/latency, handle drift, and hand off to client teams.
• Present technical decisions to C‑level leaders, quantify impact, and support pre‑sales scoping when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1‑4 years delivering production AI solutions, LLM workflows, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience leading client‑facing discovery calls and translating business problems into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Python (primary language) and familiarity with other major languages.
• Frontier AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Agentic orchestration frameworks: LangGraph, LangChain, N8N, or direct Model Context Protocol (MCP) usage.
• Architectural patterns: RESTful APIs, microservices, event‑driven systems.
• CI/CD pipelines, prompt/evaluation versioning, and production AI operations (observability, cost management, drift handling).
