Forward Deployed Engineer (Python + AI) – Remote

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients, identify AI opportunities, design and ship production‑grade AI agents, and ensure they operate reliably after launch. This remote position serves customers across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business, data, and engineering stakeholders to surface true AI problems and assess data readiness.
• Architect end‑to‑end agentic systems, including retrieval pipelines, hybrid search, knowledge graphs, and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.
• Build and ship production agents, retrieval services, and evaluation tooling; own CI/CD pipelines with prompt and context versioning.
• Operate post‑launch systems: monitor retrieval quality, manage cost/latency, handle drift, and hand over stable solutions to client teams.
• Present designs and impact metrics to senior technical leaders and support pre‑sales scoping when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years delivering production AI solutions, including LLM workflows and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience leading client‑facing discovery calls and translating business problems into technical specifications.

Required skills

• Python (primary language) and at least one of TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, Go.
• Experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, N8N, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) and LLM APIs.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
