DevOps Engineer – Data Services & Linux (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

FullStack is seeking a DevOps Engineer specialized in data services and Linux to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, ensuring reliable infrastructure and smooth delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client development teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Maintain and secure Linux servers, including patching, Active Directory integration, backups, and monitoring.
• Administer relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) and support build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Spring and NodeJS.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Create and manage containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines with Docker, GitLab CI, Artifactory and Git.
• Set up enterprise monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace) and document processes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and take ownership of delivery quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and database management.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting, IaC, containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to work independently, solve complex issues and document solutions.
