DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and maintain production Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and support physical data‑center resources (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu or Talos), write scripts in Python and Bash.
• Implement networking, DNS, VPN and load‑balancing solutions across cloud and on‑premise sites.
• Handle database and storage services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, Ceph, NFS and S3.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus and the ELK Stack.
• Apply security hardening, integrate SIEM (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and automate backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, Azure cloud, and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments and large‑scale systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership and solve complex technical problems.
