About the role

The Buyer will manage all procurement activities within the assigned area, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services under optimal value, quality and cost. The role involves negotiating contracts, documenting agreements and fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end acquisition processes for goods and services, complying with company policies.
• Continuously research the Bolivian market to identify and develop new suppliers, products and technologies.
• Build proactive relationships with internal clients, understand their needs and keep them informed on request progress.
• Analyze proposals and recommend solutions based on total value, considering cost, quality, technical compliance, timelines, warranties and risks.
• Plan and conduct commercial negotiations and evaluate supplier performance and capabilities.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Economics or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, negotiation or supplier management.
• Experience researching markets and developing suppliers, preferably with knowledge of the Bolivian market.
• Ability to analyze costs, negotiate commercial terms and make data‑driven recommendations.
• Intermediate level of English and willingness to travel; driver’s license desirable.
