Business Development Intern

About the role

Shop And Favor is seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to support research and outreach to potential business clients in the United States. This fully remote, paid internship is designed for university students interested in B2B sales, market research, and technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential business clients using company websites and professional sources based on provided criteria.
• Identify relevant contacts and maintain organized prospect lists.
• Prepare and send personalized introductory emails and follow‑ups in English.
• Record research, outreach, responses, and next steps in spreadsheets or a CRM tool.
• Help schedule introductory discovery meetings and create brief prospect summaries for teammates.
• Provide a brief end‑of‑day update on completed tasks and any support needed.

Required profile

• Currently studying Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business or a related field and eligible for an internship in Bolivia.
• Strong written communication in Spanish and functional English for research and email writing.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable communicating respectfully with new contacts.
• Ability to work remotely and attend scheduled online meetings during agreed hours.

Required skills

• Basic familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
