Forward Deployed AI Engineer (TypeScript) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who will embed with enterprise clients, identify real AI opportunities, design end‑to‑end agentic systems and ship production‑ready solutions. The role blends consulting, operations and hands‑on engineering, working remotely across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business and engineering stakeholders to separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues.
• Architect, design and build agentic systems, including orchestration, context retrieval, tool integration and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for the solutions you create, handling build, test, release and environment management.
• Present technical decisions to senior leaders, quantify impact in business terms and support pre‑sales scoping when needed.
• Maintain production AI operations: monitoring, cost management, drift detection and regression testing.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of professional software development, with back‑end focus and full‑stack capability.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer or Tech Lead, able to assess current environments and define credible roadmaps.
• Strong consulting skills: discovery workshops, stakeholder alignment and translating technical choices into business outcomes.
• Experience delivering AI/LLM and agent systems in regulated or enterprise settings.
