Forward Deployed AI Engineer (TypeScript) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is looking for a senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer who will embed with enterprise clients, identify real AI opportunities, design end‑to‑end agentic systems and ship production‑ready solutions. The role blends consulting, operations and hands‑on engineering while working remotely across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops with business and engineering stakeholders to separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues.
• Map current processes, define specifications and design agentic architectures including orchestration, context retrieval, tool integration and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Build and ship production‑grade agents, multi‑step automations and integration layers, owning the full CI/CD pipeline.
• Engineer delivery systems, including testing, release management, observability and cost‑control for AI workloads.
• Present architectural decisions to CTOs, VPs of Engineering and business leaders, quantifying impact in business terms.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of professional software development, back‑end heavy, full‑stack capable.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer or Tech Lead, with a track record of assessing environments and defining roadmaps.
• Hands‑on experience building and shipping LLM‑based or agentic systems beyond demos.
• Strong consulting skills: discovery, stakeholder alignment, and translating technical decisions into business outcomes.
