WMS Lead

About the role

The WMS Lead will own the design, development, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing support of Warehouse Management System solutions. This senior position works across Order Management, WMS and ERP platforms to ensure seamless end‑to‑end fulfillment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of WMS solutions, from design through production support.
• Own end‑to‑end flow across OMS, WMS, ERP and related systems.
• Partner with business, operations, IT and vendors to translate requirements into workable system solutions.
• Support order lifecycle processes including capture, inventory allocation, fulfillment, shipment confirmation, cancellations and returns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, interface failures and data mismatches.
• Review functional and technical specifications, test cases and deployment plans.
• Support SIT, UAT, cut‑over, go‑live and hyper‑care activities.
• Provide root‑cause analysis and recommend long‑term fixes.
• Mentor team members and guide technical decisions for enhancements and support.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in supply‑chain applications, WMS, OMS or ERP‑integrated environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes such as receiving, put‑away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce or omnichannel fulfillment.
• Proven ability to lead on‑shore/off‑shore delivery teams.

Required skills

• Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS, High Jump/Körber or similar WMS platforms.
• API, EDI, middleware integration, web services and batch jobs.
• SQL and data validation.
• Warehouse automation, barcode/RF scanning and logistics systems.
