Técnico/a de Implementación – Proyecto G‑STAR

About the role

Save the Children International in Bolivia is seeking a Technical Implementation Officer for the Gender Empowerment & Green Skills for Transformative Adolescent and Youth Resilience (G‑STAR) project. The position is based in La Paz and will support the delivery of project activities aimed at reducing poverty and improving the well‑being of children and adolescents in selected municipalities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical and programmatic activities defined in the project work plan.
• Coordinate operational planning, field implementation, and reporting of results.
• Collaborate closely with partner organizations, municipal authorities, education, health, and child protection sectors, as well as other NGOs operating in the area.
• Travel frequently to project municipalities and adapt to emergency or adverse situations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, social work, education, development studies, human rights, child protection or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in project management and two years in implementing projects focused on child protection, education, health, or community development.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information, resolve conflicts, work under pressure, and maintain respectful relationships.
• Commitment to Save the Children’s values, human‑rights‑based approaches, and child‑rights principles.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies for development initiatives.
• Understanding of the social and cultural context of the target population in the Department of La Paz.
• Familiarity with strategies for comprehensive adolescent and youth development.
