About the role

The Production Supervisor will oversee the execution of production programs across three plants within the SCZ unit, ensuring planned volumes are met while managing resources efficiently. This onsite role requires coordination with multiple departments to maintain high quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan production activities for the three operational plants to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Lead and supervise the production team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Manage personnel assignments, shift schedules, vacations, and leave to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Monitor compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
  • Implement and enforce workplace safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee raw material and work‑in‑process inventory, track stock levels, and coordinate replenishment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to schedule preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.
  • Identify and proactively resolve production issues, seeking efficient solutions.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Conduct material mass‑balance activities and adjust stock discrepancies.
  • Send daily plant performance reports to Production Management.
  • Participate in safety, environmental, quality trainings, drills, audits, and inspections.

Required profile

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Post‑graduation/MBA is desirable.
  • Basic Portuguese and intermediate English are desirable.
  • Proven experience working in industrial plant environments.
