Supervisor de Producción – Planta SCZ

About the role

The Production Supervisor will oversee the execution of production programs across three plants of the SCZ unit, ensuring that planned production volumes are met while managing resources efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan production activities of the three operational plants to meet targets and deadlines.
• Lead and supervise the production team, providing guidance, training and support.
• Manage staff assignments, shift schedules, vacations and leaves to guarantee adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety policies, proper use of personal protective equipment and risk mitigation.
• Supervise inventory of raw materials and work‑in‑process, monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
• Identify and address occupational health and safety risks.
• Proactively resolve production issues, seeking efficient solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with other departments for smooth coordination.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality.
• Perform and supervise mass‑balance calculations for plant materials and adjust stock handling accordingly.
• Send daily reports to Production Management with key plant indicators.
• Participate in trainings, drills, audits and inspections related to safety, environment and quality.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Post‑graduate degree or MBA (desired).
• Basic Portuguese and intermediate English (desired).
• Proven experience in industrial plants as a Production Supervisor or Engineer.
