Subgerente de Planeamiento y Proyectos

About the role

BCP Bolivia is seeking a Subgerente de Planeamiento y Proyectos to lead strategic and transversal projects within the Risk Division in La Paz. The role focuses on planning, monitoring and executing initiatives that align with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor strategic and transversal projects of the Risk Division, ensuring objectives, deadlines and results are met.
• Supervise progress of initiatives and institutional commitments, aligning them with organizational strategy and current regulatory framework.
• Coordinate follow‑up on internal, external and regulatory audit observations, driving timely implementation of action plans.
• Provide technical and strategic support to Management and Sub‑management on planning, performance control, indicators and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate initiatives across different bank units, fostering integration and transversal execution of projects in Retail Banking.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related fields.
• Preferably a postgraduate degree or certification in Project Management, Business Administration or Agile methodologies.
• Minimum three years of experience in banking or financial institutions, participating in planning, strategic management, performance control or risk projects.
• Knowledge of financial risk and the ASFI regulatory framework.
• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and indicator management.
