Sub Contador – Supervisor Contable

About the role

The Sub Contador will support the finance team by supervising and executing core accounting and tax processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, execute and validate accounting entries, guaranteeing their accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and detailed account analyses.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with current fiscal and tax obligations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and other ledger accounts.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with various departments to collect and validate accounting information.
• Identify and propose improvements to accounting and control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Accounting, Auditing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in similar accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, closing procedures, reconciliations and taxation.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Analytical mindset, strong organization, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous coordination or supervisory experience is desirable.
