Software Engineer – Telephony (Remote)

About the role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Telephony, you will design, build, and maintain the communication backbone that powers modern contact centers. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier engineers to ensure high‑availability voice services for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage scalable telephony environments.
• Implement and optimize enterprise‑grade CCaaS solutions (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Twilio).
• Design and deploy intelligent IVR flows and advanced call‑routing logic.
• Configure and secure Session Border Controllers (SBC) for resilient network performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to modernize communication platforms and integrate emerging voice technologies.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues to maintain zero‑downtime service levels.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on telephony infrastructure.
• Proven expertise with SIP, VoIP, and WebRTC protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with major CCaaS platforms such as Genesys, NICE, Five9, or Twilio.
• Strong background in designing IVR flows and intelligent call routing.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Session Border Controllers.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
