Senior SEO Content Strategist

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior SEO Content Strategist to lead the organic growth strategy for a high‑growth fintech and cryptocurrency platform. This fully remote position combines technical SEO, content creation, and digital PR, giving you end‑to‑end ownership of traffic and conversion performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the organic growth roadmap, including keyword strategy, competitive benchmarking, and quarterly KPI targets.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives such as site architecture, crawlability, page speed, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and Local SEO for a network of kiosks.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement SEO improvements and prevent regressions.
• Maintain the SEO tooling stack (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and provide data‑driven performance reports.
• Develop and execute content strategy across blogs, landing pages, and educational guides, writing SEO‑optimized material that simplifies complex crypto and fintech topics.
• Conduct regular content audits to refresh, consolidate, or retire underperforming pages.
• Partner with Communications on data‑led digital PR campaigns, supplying original research and responding to reporter requests via HARO, Qwoted, etc.
• Track domain authority, referring domains, link quality, and link velocity, reporting the SEO impact of earned media.

Required profile

• Senior‑level SEO professional with a strategic mindset.
• Proven ability to execute technical SEO initiatives at scale.
• Exceptional writing skills capable of producing publication‑level content.
• Experience earning high‑authority backlinks through digital PR.
