Senior Salesforce Lead Engineer

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior Salesforce Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and administration of its Salesforce platform across multiple Latin American locations. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cross‑functional teams and shape scalable solutions that support sales, marketing, and customer success processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and custom objects.
• Provide day‑to‑day administration including leads, accounts, opportunities, dashboards, reporting, roles, and permissions.
• Establish and maintain governance standards for security, compliance, data management, workflows, and validation rules.
• Administer and optimize integrations with RingDNA and other connected applications via REST, SOAP, and iPaaS platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, well‑architected Salesforce solutions.
• Manage version control, backup, and restore processes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other stakeholders to enhance user experience.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development and administration.
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.

• Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• REST and SOAP APIs, iPaaS integration platforms.
• HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL, Java.
• Salesforce administration (objects, security, reporting, automation).
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and enterprise application ecosystems.
• Agile SDLC methodologies and version‑control best practices.
