Senior QA Engineer - Remote

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Engineer (remote, Bolivia) to plan, design and execute manual and automated testing for investor funding, payment processing, data flows and system integrations. The role covers API validation, data pipelines, performance testing and the use of AI-assisted testing tools, and works within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute manual and automated testing for funding, payments, data flows and integrations.
• Build and maintain automated test suites with Python (pytest, Robot Framework) and Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Validate REST APIs, file-based integrations and data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation and defect investigation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
• Run performance and load tests, and test responsive web apps across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to speed up test development and analysis, and build AI-assisted testing solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders through Agile ceremonies and report defects and quality metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA experience covering manual and automated testing.
• 3+ years in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to work during US Eastern Time business hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Python automation frameworks (pytest and/or Robot Framework)
• Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Advanced SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations)
• REST API testing with Postman or code-based frameworks
• CI/CD pipeline testing and performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust)
• Responsive web app testing across browsers and devices
• Practical experience with AI-powered tools in testing workflows

Preferred: lending, payments or FinTech experience, custom AI agent development, Jira and Confluence, file-based integration testing, knowledge of financial data reconciliation and compliance, and long-term product team experience.
