About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to support an Agile delivery team focused on life insurance policy servicing, legacy systems, and modernization initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and engineers to gather requirements and drive product delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Agile delivery team responsible for life insurance policy servicing and legacy system modernization.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and engineers.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) Planning.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in a dedicated Product Owner role.
  • Strong Agile delivery and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work Central Time business hours.
  • Life insurance and policy administration experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAFe, mainframe systems, or legacy modernization is a plus.
