Senior .NET Engineer – Azure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to lead the investigation and resolution of high‑impact production incidents in Azure‑hosted environments. This is a temporary 6‑month assignment where you will work across application, infrastructure and platform layers to restore service and improve reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve P1/P2 incidents affecting .NET applications, APIs and background services running on Azure App Services and AKS.
• Perform deep root‑cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces and distributed telemetry (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
• Coordinate incident response with Development, Infrastructure, Security and Support teams and produce executive‑ready documentation.
• Configure and tune monitoring, alerts and dashboards; recommend architectural improvements such as retry policies, circuit breakers and caching.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET, including production support of ASP.NET Core applications.
• Proven ability to independently own and resolve critical production incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Strong written English communication for executive‑level reporting.

Required skills

• C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs.
• Azure services: App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
• SQL for data‑related investigations.
• Container technologies: Docker, Helm.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep (nice to have).
