About the role

EY, a global leader in audit and advisory services, is seeking a Senior External Auditor for its Bolivia office. The role involves leading audit engagements for clients across diverse industries, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and fostering strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise financial audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and EY methodology.
• Lead and develop audit teams, reviewing workpapers and ensuring consistency of deliverables.
• Assess audit risks, internal controls, and financial processes.
• Analyze financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Coordinate information requests and maintain effective communication with clients.
• Prepare audit reports, observations, and recommendations.
• Manage multiple audit projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and budgets.
• Stay updated on accounting, auditing regulations, and market trends.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in external audit.
• Proven experience leading and supervising audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Client‑focused attitude and ability to work in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to travel as required.
