Senior CloudOps Engineer – Hybrid (La Paz)

About the role

Seagull Software is looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP and Kubernetes environments. The role includes a 24/7 on‑call rotation and a hybrid work model based in La Paz.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and scale cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
• Design, deploy and optimise services such as AWS EKS, EC2, ALB/NLB, VPC, IAM, Route 53, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch and GCP GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Load Balancing, VPC, IAM, Cloud DNS.
• Configure DNS, load balancers and secure user roles across both cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve security, reliability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, monitoring solutions and database services.
• Participate in a rotation on‑call schedule to support the platform 24/7.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience with AWS and GCP cloud services.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes orchestration.
• Ability to design high‑availability, fault‑tolerant architectures.
• Experience working in hybrid or remote environments and collaborating with global teams.
