Senior AI Engineer (Python, LLMs) – Remote

About the role

BairesDev® is seeking a Senior AI Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, develop, and optimize production‑grade applications powered by Large Language Models. The role is fully remote and focuses on translating complex data requirements into scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search capabilities.
• Develop high‑performance application layers that integrate LLM APIs for complex workflows.
• Architect automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and prepare unstructured data for AI workflows.
• Implement evaluation loops and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy, safety, and reliability of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify strategic opportunities for intelligent automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Integration of Large Language Models, specifically OpenAI APIs.
• Building and optimizing RAG workflows and semantic search.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or agentic workflows.
• ETL/ELT process design and implementation.
