Remote Structural Concrete Project Engineer – LATAM

About the role

Meier Concrete, a structural concrete subcontractor serving commercial and multifamily projects, is expanding its international team. We are looking for a Remote Structural Concrete Project Engineer based in Latin America to support 2–3 active projects, working closely with U.S.-based project managers and superintendents.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, track, and coordinate RFIs with field and design teams.
• Prepare and submit submittal packages in accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain and update project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Review 3‑week look‑ahead plans and manage coordination logs.
• Organize drawings and specifications in AutoCAD (ACC) and conduct revision reviews.
• Review BIM/Revit models to flag coordination issues.
• Assist in preparing change orders with quantity breakdowns and impact summaries.
• Track material orders and confirm deliveries.
• Participate in weekly virtual check‑ins with the PM and Superintendent.
• Support close‑out documentation and punch‑list tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of construction project coordination or engineering experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM‑based model coordination.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (ACC) and Microsoft Project.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently during Pacific Time business hours (7 AM–4 PM PST).
