QA Functional Analyst – 3-Month Contract

About the role

You are an analytical and proactive QA Functional Analyst who enjoys understanding complex business processes beyond the UI. This is a temporary 3‑month opportunity to validate application behavior, business rules, transactions and data across multiple layers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify scenarios, risks and coverage gaps.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end tests.
• Validate business rules and complete workflows across frontend, backend and database layers using SQL.
• Document, track, retest and follow defects through resolution, prioritizing based on business and technical risk.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of functional QA experience on complex or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, autonomy and communication skills.

Required skills

• Functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing.
• Intermediate SQL for data validation and transaction integrity.
• Test‑design techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables and risk‑based testing.
• Experience with web, mobile and API‑based applications.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, Jira, Xray or Zephyr.
