Operations Manager / Online Business Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Operations Manager / Online Business Manager to partner with the founder of a fast‑growing, founder‑led company. You will own the day‑to‑day operational flow, turn chaotic processes into reliable systems, and leverage AI‑driven automation to free up valuable time for strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily operations and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Deeply understand the founder’s business, tools, standards, and decision‑making style.
• Identify manual, repetitive, or broken processes and redesign them into efficient SOPs, workflows, and automations.
• Coordinate projects, vendors, timelines, and key deliverables across the organization.
• Track operational performance metrics and use data to prioritize improvements.
• Make independent decisions, escalating only when critical judgment is required.
• Provide regular, proactive updates to the founder without being prompted.
• Continuously seek opportunities to save time, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Online Business Manager, founder’s right‑hand, or a comparable high‑ownership role.
• Background in fast‑moving, founder‑led environments where structure is built on the fly.
• Strong operational judgment with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
• Track record of improving processes rather than merely maintaining them.
• High ownership, follow‑through, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to learn and experiment with automation tools.
