Operador de Trafico

About the role

The company, a multinational trader of mineral concentrates, is looking for a Traffic Operator to manage end‑to‑end logistics for shipments from suppliers to customers. The role is based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and requires immediate availability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute purchase contracts for minerals.
• Organise and monitor the full logistics chain, including land transport, storage, maritime shipping and related documentation.
• Maintain constant communication with clients and service providers.
• Coordinate quality‑control activities such as sampling, chemical analysis and weighing.
• Handle client account follow‑up, including invoicing and payment orders for each export transaction.
• Produce risk‑control reports and commercial analyses.
• Enter and maintain shipment data in the internal system.

Required profile

• Advanced/fluently spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Immediate availability to work onsite in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness for each shipment.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with flexibility to adapt to constant changes.
• Willingness to collaborate across multiple time zones.
• Practical knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
• Previous experience with international commercial operations (Incoterms, letters of credit, maritime shipping).
