Mid Backend Engineer + Playwright

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Mid Backend Engineer with strong Playwright expertise to join its remote development team. You will work on building robust backend services while creating and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java or Kotlin, contributing independently to production code.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Create functional, integration, and API tests to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and improve test reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Strong background in test engineering and automation.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
