Lead .NET Developer (Tech Lead) – Remote

About the role

Unosquare is looking for an experienced Tech Lead (C# / .NET) to take technical ownership of a C# engineering team. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you will continue writing code while guiding architecture, standards, and mentoring engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions while staying hands‑on with C# / .NET development.
• Review pull requests, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards.
• Define and document architecture and system design choices.
• Break down work and manage tasks using Azure DevOps Boards.
• Unblock engineers through pairing, debugging, and technical guidance.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior engineers and own test coverage, build health, and technical debt.
• Handle escalations, production issues, and partner with product teams to turn requirements into solutions.
• Represent the team technically with clients and participate in interviews and technical assessments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong C# / .NET expertise.
• Experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or equivalent role.
• Strong modern .NET 8+ experience and comfort with legacy .NET Framework.
• Extensive code‑review, architecture, and system‑design experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server or comparable relational databases and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps Boards.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes.
• Excellent spoken and written English and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
