Junior NOC Analyst – 24/7 Global Network Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Junior NOC Analyst to join IDT’s 24x7 Global Network Operations team. You will monitor production networks, applications and services, respond to alerts, and work with internal and external teams to resolve incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor all production networks, applications and services using monitoring tools.
• Investigate and resolve alerts according to standard operating procedures.
• Document and track incidents in the ticketing system and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with site technicians, third‑party vendors and other IT teams during incident resolution.
• Participate in high‑priority incident bridge calls and produce post‑mortem reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in NOC or similar monitoring role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher) and ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.

• Monitoring tools: Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Zabbix.
• Ticketing and collaboration: Jira, Slack.
• Operating systems: Windows and Linux.
• Networking basics: BGP, MPLS, OSPF.
