About the role

The University Extension Department seeks a senior professional to lead and promote social interaction and outreach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role focuses on disseminating research, technology, culture, and arts while fostering sustainable development and enhancing the institution's image.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute, and evaluate university extension projects.
• Coordinate the diffusion of research, science, technology, innovation, culture, teaching, art, and technical results to the broader community.
• Collect and systematize contributions for scientific analysis and societal impact.
• Develop, market, implement, and assess continuous training courses.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on extension activities.
• Ensure compliance with university statutes, regulations, and normative guidelines.
• Apply social research methodologies to diagnose community needs.

Required profile

• Degree in a social field (national provision).
• Diploma in Higher Education (desirable).
• Minimum five years of professional experience.
• At least two years managing academic, social, or cultural projects or university teaching.
• One year of experience in a similar leadership role (desirable).
• Knowledge of project planning, execution, and evaluation for university extension.
• Familiarity with university statutes, regulations, and normative documents.
• Experience with social research methodologies and continuous training program management.
