About the role

The position is responsible for managing, aligning and guiding the technology strategy of a bank, ensuring that decisions, investments, capabilities and IT priorities contribute to institutional objectives, value creation, operational sustainability and the evolution of the technology model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning of IT and the management of the technology portfolio.
• Coordinate with business areas to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Establish and maintain governance mechanisms, monitoring and accountability processes.
• Advise senior management on large‑scale initiatives and digital transformation projects.
• Promote cutting‑edge methodologies, enterprise agility and effective stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with a technology focus.
• Master’s degree in Management, Information Technology or Digital Transformation (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technology leadership, IT strategy, governance, planning or portfolio management, preferably in the financial sector.
• At least 3 years leading digital transformation, technology modernization or business‑technology alignment initiatives.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., COBIT, CGEIT, ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, TOGAF, SAFe, DevOps, CISA, Design Thinking, OKR).
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership and manage large‑scale, complex programs.
