IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is building a talent pool of qualified IT Office Support Consultants to staff current and future positions across its offices in the Caribbean and Latin America. Candidates will provide end‑user IT assistance, maintain equipment, and support new technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day IT support to IDB personnel, covering hardware, software, connectivity and training.
• Provision, configure and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordinate with local service providers.
• Collaborate on new IT projects and act as liaison with other IT teams.
• Keep operational documentation, ticketing records, reports and dashboards up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related field.
• Proficiency in English and one official IDB language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Experience with customer support and, optionally, project management (PMI).
• Knowledge of AI and generative AI technologies and their ethical use is a plus.
