IT Office Support Consultant – Join Talent Pool

About the role

We are building a talent pool of qualified IT Office Support Consultants to provide end‑user technology assistance across our offices in Latin America and the Caribbean. Successful candidates will help IDB personnel use hardware, software and connectivity tools efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site IT support to staff at IDB representations, covering hardware, software, networking and training needs.
• Provision, configure and maintain standard workstations throughout their lifecycle in line with corporate standards.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the upkeep of IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordination with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and act as a liaison between local teams and central IT groups.
• Document incidents, service requests and updates in ticketing systems and related dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related customer‑service roles.
• Proficiency in English and one of the Bank’s official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts and their ethical use is a plus.
