About the role

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a 4‑5 month on‑site consulting engagement in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure high‑quality delivery of telecom‑related software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse system specifications and collaborate with architects to define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, including functional, regression, performance, and load tests.
• Document defects, report results to development teams, and track testing progress.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and generate code‑coverage metrics.
• Support post‑deployment testing and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role, preferably in telecom projects.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools.
• Understanding of microservices architectures and related patterns.

• OpenTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, SoapUI, YAML.
• Testing frameworks: JUnit, Pytest, Mocha/Chai.
• Performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Version control: Git.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Security standards: OWASP, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML.
• Programming languages: Java, Node.js.
